Laura is in her 40's and has five sons. As a new Christian, she experienced the horror of a home invasion. God used that experience for her to share her testimony in A Mom's Battle Cry for Rest and A Mom's Battle Cry to Overcome Fear, two nonfiction devotionals.
Since that time, she has been writing shorter length stories, fondly named "Cozy Afternoon Reads" in the Christian fiction genre.
A natural encourager and entrepreneur, she shares her journey of weight loss in THE CANDY BAR STORY. See it here.

Life isn't a fairy tale. It can be heart-wrenching and painful. Difficult times come to us all and many times they shape who we are and how we look at the world. We can, however, find strength through the valleys as we learn to endure and place our faith in the One who sustains us and is our shield.
